How to care for the Katakuchi Tea Bowl After each use, wash the Katakuchi Tea Bowl by hand in warm water. Use gentle dish soap and a soft sponge or towel if needed. Dry thoroughly before storing. How to make a Hojicha Latte with the Katakuchi Tea Bowl Add 1 teaspoon of Hojicha Powder and 60 ml of 80°C (175°F) filtered water into a Katakuchi Tea Bowl. Whisk together with a chasen (bamboo whisk). For a hot hojicha latte: Steam 180 ml of milk, and pour the whisked hojicha and frothed milk into a mug. For an iced hojicha latte: Pour the whisked hojicha over a glass of ice and 180 ml of cold milk. Sweeten if desired.
