The KM-18 was designed with functionality and heavy use in mind. But we decided to make it jaw-droppingly gorgeous as well. This is our second tool release in collaboration with Hongdui Tools, who I consider one of the best tool makers of our time — and I couldn’t be prouder of the results. Note on Brass Heads: Over time, the solid brass heads of the mallet will naturally patina. This creates a really nice look a lot of people find desirable. You can prevent this by coating the heads with lacquer or polyurethane, but a quick online search will give you more ideas.
