Many times people will double this amount and plan on having 2 - 3 servings in an evening and just make it all at once. Steep 2 - 4 TBS in 8 - 12 oz of hot water for 10 - 30 minutes on low heat, strain with a very fine strainer such as muslin, a kava infuser ball, a kava strainer bag, or a nut milk bag (consuming the powder may cause nausea).
