Location: Norse Cove Kayak Centre The Kayak Rolling Instructor course is a thorough program that provides national certification to individuals who wish to teach and oversee the Paddle Canada Kayak Rolling Skills Clinic. This course offers comprehensive training on how to instruct students on the proper techniques for rolling a kayak, as well as how to effectively manage and administer the clinic. Upon finishing the course, instructors will possess the knowledge and skills needed to assist their students in developing the essential skills for safely rolling a kayak. Classroom: Norse Cove Kayak Centre Course Prerequisites At least 16 years of age. Certification Basic Kayak Instructor First Aid Current certification in first aid (14 hours) with CPR. Teaching Experience The prospective candidate must have taught a minimum of two Basic Kayak Skills (or higher) courses within the past three years, being the lead instructor on at least one of those courses.
