The minimum age for kayak tours with Kitty Hawk Kites is 5 years old. Children ages 5–12 must paddle in a tandem kayak with an adult. Kayak Tour Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. However, due to limited availability and scheduling logistics, the following cancellation policy applies: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour start time to receive a full refund. We paddle rain or shine—including in wind and light rain. However, we do not operate during thunderstorms or dangerous weather. If inclement weather prevents us from safely running your tour, we will contact you to reschedule or issue a full refund. No-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations made within 48 hours of your tour will not be eligible for a refund.
