The KEF Q6 Meta is a high-performance, 3-way center channel (or LCR) speaker. Designed to anchor home theater setups, it combines KEF’s signature 12th-Generation Uni-Q driver array with their Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) MAT acts like an acoustic black hole. It is a complex maze-like structure behind the tweeter that absorbs up to 99% of unwanted rearward sound, minimizing distortion and delivering high-frequency detail. 3-Way Uni-Q Point-Source Array By mounting the tweeter inside the center of the 4" midrange driver, KEF creates a single point source for voice frequencies. The separate twin 6.5" woofers handle only the low-end duty, leaving vocal tracks unmudded by bass movement.
