The temperate climate of the Rift Valley is ideal for growing tea, and many of the world's famous brands like Lipton, Tetley, and Twinings - to name a few - blend Kenyan teas with product from other tea growing areas like China, India, and Sri Lanka when creating their branded blends. For this reason, it is rare to see a whole-leaf, loose leaf tea coming out of Africa, and we feel especially grateful to include the bold yet balanced Kenya Kangaita in our Black Tea collection. When we're feeling particularly fanciful, we taste the heat of the sun and the depth of the volcanic soil in this smooth, Black Tea.
