This fully washed coffee was grown from rich, red volcanic soil in the Kericho, Nyeri, and Kirinyaga growing regions. What makes peaberries special is that they are a natural mutation that occurs only 5% of the time where a coffee cherry produces one bean instead of two, yielding a much sweeter and tastier cup of coffee. Peaberries are easily noticeable with their small and round shape compared to other beans.
