After almost a decade of requests to do my take on a Horace Kephart themed knife, here we are. I made two prototypes, and this is the convex one, with a beveled spine, no lanyard tube, and a swell in the front handle contour. I tried to keep the curves quite similar to the original Kephart knife, and followed it's relatively slim, flat handle contour, which is actually quite comfortable. The originals came with a 4 inch or 5 inch blade option. This one has a 4-3/4", somewhere between the two, and a 4-3/4" handle as well, keeping it looking and feeling quite symmetrical. Someone once said that the Kephart model is everything you need in a knife, and nothing that you don't. I would say that I agree.
