B-Quiet Paste is a magnesium and thiamine supplement intended for horses of all ages. This nutrient-enriched paste is suitable for all classes of horses for use before and during competition. B-Quiet Paste provides concentrated levels of thiamine, an essential B vitamin, and magnesium. In hard-working horses or those on high-grain diets, production of thiamine by intestinal bacteria may be reduced because of stress and hindgut acidosis. Thiamine plays a vital role in carbohydrate metabolism and nerve transmission. Magnesium is needed by horses for proper synthesis of protein and digestion of starches and its presence is necessary for hundred of enzymatic functions. When the levels of thiamine and magnesium fall below essential levels, horses may not perform their best. B-Quiet Paste is easy to administer using an oral syringe. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: For nutritional support for horses the following amounts should be given daily. One tube daily (30 g) for horses on high-grain diets or those in heavy training. Two tubes (60 g) may be given daily for two days prior to a show, competition or racing. GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: Nutrient Concentration (Per 30 g) Magnesium (min): 16.66% 5000 mg Thiamine (vitamin B1): 3.33% 1000 mg SIZE: 30g
