Klasse Wrecks is ecstatic to announce the latest in the KFAX series, KFAX19 makes a departure from the usual black and whit e risographed printing to bring you a full spectrum trip across early 90s rave culture. As with many other youth culture movements, the tshirt serves as so much more than just clothing to young ravers. An independent statement of identification, rebellion and spirit, these tshirts stand out as an integral part of the style and helped define the aesthetic of early rave music and parties. Usually produced quickly and cheaply, the designs reflect the D.I.Y ethos of the time. Printed on easily available blanks of the time such as Oneida, Hanes and Screenstars, the tshirts are now considered serious collectors items and move for serious amounts. The new book brings together part of the collection of Tom Kennedy, a curator of rave ephemera who also goes by the name ‘BPM Archive’.
