Khodanoor Lajaei, a young Baloch–Iranian man, taken during his arrest and torture by Iranian authorities. Khodanoor participated in protests in the city of Zahedan against the Iranian government on October 1, 2022, what became known as “Bloody Friday.” During the demonstrations, authorities fired indiscriminately into the crowd, killing and injuring many Baloch, including Khodanoor. The activist group, the Center for Human Rights in Iran, says 451 protesters and 60 members of the security forces have been killed since the start of the unrest and that more than 18,000 people have been detained. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these earrings will be donated to the Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI), which has been amplifying the voices of the Iranian people since 2008.
