Drawing on funk, soul, dub, disco, and a range of international influences, the album moves easily from the buoyant pulse of ""Time (You and I)"" and the handclap-driven ""Pelota"" to the meditative atmosphere of ""Father Bird, Mother Bird"" and ""If There Is No Question.""
