The collaboration of BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds and electro-pop torchbearer Janus Rasmussen was born out of a shared connection with the more minimal, sparse sounds of e lectronic music. This self-titled debut if the fruit of their decidedly unhurried labours. With misty synths and metronomic percussive sections, the record paints a picture of Nordic pastures.
