KICK Carrageenan™ T is a recently developed fining tablet designed to improve flocculation and clarity in the boil kettle. KICK is more powerful than generic Irish Moss and correct ly calibrated so that each tablet treats 5 barrels of wort. Developed by Gusmer Enterprises, multiple sources of highly purified Kappa Carrageenan were tested over a period of two years to ultimately find the souce and quality grade that was the most effective at binding haze-forming proteins and other small particles in beer wort. One tablet treats 5 bbls. For best results, add 5 minutes prior to the end of the boil. Quickly dissolves.
