The Kicker 46DB4 Power Distribution Block is designed to provide clean and efficient power management for multi-amplifier car audio systems. It offers a professional solution for splitting a single main power input into multiple outputs, reducing clutter and improving installation quality. Built with heavy-duty materials and precision engineering, this block ensures reliable current flow and secure connections for high-performance setups. The 46DB4 uses Kicker’s Versa-Gauge™ connection points, which feature oversized convex screws for rock-solid clamping. These screws create a tight grip on wires, preventing slippage and ensuring maximum conductivity. The wire receptacles are designed to accommodate a wide range of cable sizes, making installation flexible and straightforward. A negative-post adapter collar locks into place for added stability, providing a secure fit even under demanding conditions. This distribution block accepts two large-gauge inputs ranging from 1/0 AWG to 8 AWG and splits power into four outputs that support 4 AWG to 8 AWG wire. This configuration is ideal for powering multiple amplifiers from a single main power source, eliminating the need for separate long cable runs. The result is a cleaner, more organised installation that saves time and space while maintaining consistent voltage delivery. The block’s compact design allows it to fit easily into tight spaces, and its protective cover shields the terminals from dust and debris, helping maintain long-term reliability. The heavy-duty construction ensures durability and optimal electrical performance, making it suitable for mid to high-level car audio systems. While the Kicker 46DB4 provides excellent power distribution, it does not include built-in fusing. Users should incorporate appropriate inline fuses or a fused distribution block for added protection. This design choice offers flexibility for custom setups and ensures compatibility with different fuse ratings.
