Kidde FX-IDC1A — analog addressable single-input module wired for a Class A initiating device circuit.It brings one normally open dry-contact initiating device, such as a waterflow or tamper switch, onto a Kidde FX addressable loop. One address is set on two rotary switches, TENS 0 to 12 and ONES 0 to 9, and slide switch P1 presets the module as alarm latching (factory default) or supervisory. A bicolor LED flashes green in normal, red in alarm. FX-IDC1B is the Class B single-input mini module and FX-IDC2B the Class B two-input module; neither substitutes. Kidde specifies no end-of-line resistor here, because the Class A circuit returns to the module for supervision. It will not support conventional two-wire smoke detectors.
