Harris builds the effect thro ugh layered palette-knife work, each pass of the blade adding texture so the blooms feel loose and alive rather than fixed.A child of Essex now settled in rural Suffolk, Kimberley Harris paints wildflower meadows, cornfields and the shifting light of the countryside she walks daily. She came to the palette knife in 2014 when fellow Suffolk artist David Porteous-Butler introduced her to oils, and it reshaped her practice entirely.
