King Krule's self-titled EP (also known as the "King Krule" EP) is a debut release by Archy Marshall under that moniker, showcasing his distinctive deep, cracked voice and a blend of melancholic, restless energy with warm instrumentation. The EP features a stark, direct lyrical style, exploring themes of depression, working-class fears, and post-breakup pain, all while hinting at a broader sonic palette. It includes tracks like "Bleak Bake," with its levitating keyboards and 808 drum "pooms," and "The Noose of Jah City," known for its intoxicating incantations and lush instrumentation. 1 363N632 Bleak Bake3 Portrait in Black and Blue4 Lead Existence5 The Noose of Jah City Show more
