These Oak Squat Beehive Door Knobs have been turned from solid oak to give them a truly authentic look. They originate from the Regency period but have been used consistently throughout the Victorian period and into the early 20th Century. These door knobs are made from an African Oak, extremely hard wearing with a lovely natural finish. Both the door knob and the rose have been distressed slightly to give a real aged feel, adding to their authenticity. Please note surface markings should be expected. The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
