Lenkoe, one Mara North's most handsome and big males of his time. Capturing a low level image of a lion walking straight towards the camera is surprisingly difficult. The light mus t be good, the foreground and background must be good, the lion must be in a good pose and lastly there must be an unobstructed view between the camera and the lion. This is the hardest part, as the grass in the Mara is often a challenge for low level shooting. All of this came together in this moment.
