Kinross 4ply is a fingering weight 100% lambswool from certified non-mulesed flocks that knits up with a soft, cosy handle. This yarn is spun by Todd and Duncan, a firm that has been making high-quality yarns for 150 years. Until 1950 they were based in Alva, in the Wee County, which used to be filled with textile mills. The yarn is hanked directly from the cone without being scoured. This means that once it is knitted it needs to be washed which causes a little bit of magic to happen.
