Among the items included in this kit are genuine lacquer (raw and bengara), an artist’s fine-detail brush from Kumano, Hiroshima Prefecture, a high-quality gold-dusting brush crafted in Shiga Prefecture by renowned brush workshop Hankeido, genuine mawata silk floss, tonoko powder (a fine clay powder), and imitation gold powder made of lead-free brass—long used for its shine that is close to that of pure gold.
