The Kirschbaum Max Power Rough is a textured co-polyester racquet string that builds on the power foundation of the original Max Power with a geometric surface profile engineered for maximum spin transfer. Built for players who want explosive pace and superior ball grip on every shot. Available in 17 gauge (1.25mm), 16 gauge (1.30mm) and 18 gauge (1.20mm). Key Features Geometric Textured Profile: Bites into the ball at contact and releases quickly, generating more spin on topspin drives, serves, and slice shots without adjusting your swing. Maximum Spin Transfer: The textured surface holds the ball longer than a round string, giving you greater control over shot trajectory and spin rate. Explosive Power Output: Carries the same co-polyester base as Max Power, delivering strong pace on groundstrokes and serves without sacrificing feel. Superior Ball Grip: The rough surface engages the ball more aggressively than smooth co-polyesters, rewarding players who shape shots with heavy rotation. Three Gauge Options: Choose 18 gauge (1.20mm) for power and control, 17 gauge (1.25mm) for a livelier, more responsive feel, and 16 gauge (1.30mm) for added durability if you break strings frequently.
