Maintaining precise flow control in HVACR systems requires robust components like the Johnson Controls KIT21A-600 Paddle Kit. This stainless steel set is a direct replacement paddle kit specifically engineered for compatibility with the F61 Series flow switches. Designed for professional field installation, this kit includes 1-inch, 2-inch, and 3-inch segment paddles, providing the versatility needed to accommodate various pipe diameters. The use of corrosion-resistant 300 series stainless steel ensures long-term structural integrity and reliable response to fluid velocity in liquid flow lines carrying water or ethylene glycol. For technicians, ensuring the correct paddle length is vital to prevent mechanical interference with the pipe wall while maintaining the sensitivity required to trip the SPDT switch mechanism. Whether you are performing routine maintenance or a new installation, this Johnson Controls sensor accessory provides the exact physical interface required for the Penn F61 liquid flow switch to monitor system protection parameters effectively. Key Benefits Universal F61 Compatibility: Specifically designed to fit the full range of Johnson Controls Penn F61 series standard flow switches. Three-Piece Segmented Design: Includes 1", 2", and 3" lengths to ensure proper immersion depth across multiple nominal pipe sizes. Rugged Stainless Steel Construction: Built to withstand commercial chiller and boiler environments without degradation or scale buildup. Field Versatility: Simplifies inventory by providing the necessary components to adapt to various piping configurations on-site. Common Questions Will these paddles work with large pipes? Yes, for pipes larger than 3 inches, these segments are typically used in combination or along with a 6-inch paddle (available separately) to ensure the fluid velocity is accurately captured. Can I trim these paddles if they are too long? While these are segmented, the stainless steel material can be trimmed as per the manufacturer's arc diagrams to fit specific reducing tee or pipe dimensions to prevent dragging. Is this kit suitable for hazardous fluids? These paddles are rated for use with water, brine, and other non-hazardous liquids commonly found in standard HVAC and refrigeration applications.
