Biography Annamaria Rogberg Lindholm (1972 - present) is a Swedish contemporary artist known for her emotionally resonant depictions of everyday life. She has built a long-standing career as both a painter and decorative artist. Lindholm originally studied at Stockholm University’s School of Social Work between 1992 and 1995 before fully pursuing her artistic ambitions. She later trained at Konstskolan Basis in Stockholm and completed advanced studies in decorative painting and illusion techniques through Folkuniversitetet. Her work focuses primarily on oil painting, although she has also worked extensively in gouache and acrylics. Lindholm often draws inspiration from ordinary domestic scenes, nature, light, and especially childhood. Many of her paintings feature children, including her daughters and their friends, portrayed in luminous outdoor settings that evoke memory, warmth, and nostalgia. She has described her goal as capturing “the beautiful in the simple” and creating art that sparks personal associations for viewers. Since debuting as an exhibiting artist at age twenty, Lindholm has participated in numerous galleries, salons, and art fairs across Sweden, including exhibitions at Edsvik Konsthall, Stockholm Konstsalong, and Nordic Art.
