These colorful skirts are made by the seamstresses in our sewing program in rural Kenya, using traditional East African fabric called Kitenge. 100% waxed cotton. The belt is adjust able and will fit all up to 36”. They’re about 30” long. Assorted patterns. Contact us for designs currently available if you'd like to select. Through our sewing program, participants earn a sustainable income, while they learn basic business skills, with the goal of reaching financial independence. The income our participants receive from making one skirt is equal to 10 days of income earned from casual labor.
