This latest version is compatible with both micro:bit V1 and V2.The board connects directly to the 3V, GND, and P0 pins on the micro:bit. The 3V and GND connections power the board, while the buzzer connects to pin P0, the default audio output pin in the Block Editor software.It includes an easy-to-access on/off switch to turn your project on or off without disconnecting the power supply.
