Antique 14k yellow gold sapphire and old European cut diamond ring, circa 1900, designed with a round blue sapphire set at the center and flanked by two old European cut diamonds. The stones are set in rounded bezel settings across the front, creating a low, substantial three stone design with a smooth gold profile. The shoulders feature carved leaf like details that add texture to the band and support the ring’s antique construction. The ring is stamped 14 within a shield shaped cartouche to the interior. The stamp, patina, old European cut diamonds, bezel settings, and hand finished gold work support a late Victorian to Edwardian date. The ring weighs 6.6 grams and is a size 5.25. The band measures 3/8 inch in width at the widest point. Surface wear, patina, and fine scratches are present throughout, consistent with age and prior wear.
