A Helle knife takes 45 steps to produce—each one performed by hand—in a small Holmedal factory in Norway. So when the company decided to introduce their first EDC folder, they took three years to develop, test, remake, and perfect it before releasing it to the world. The Klatten was worth the wait. In response to requests for a dark wood handle, Helle called on Kebony, an eco-friendly, Norwegian-processed wood and paired it with Helle’s signature triple-laminated stainless steel and razor-sharp Scandinavian flat grind.
