It uses an 8" (16.51cm) Cerametallic woofer with a 1" (2.54cm) Titanium dome tweeter mated to a composite coated round Tractrix® horn. Cerametallic cones are the stiff, light material Klipsch use on the Reference Premiere box speakers for minimal cone break-up, and the Linear Travel Suspension tweeter is the same part that line uses. The result is an architectural speaker that can carry the front stage of a serious home theatre, not just fill-in duty — while sitting flush behind a paintable magnetic grille.
