It gives the cutout a finished, polished look in the meantime, and guarantees the pre-wire bracket cannot be lost inside a closed ceiling. A rear-mounted cardboard cover stops blown-in or batt insulation falling through the hole before installation. The kit includes a round magnetic grille so the opening visually resembles an installed speaker, and a magnetic PVC cover that provides a full vapor barrier. Both are white eggshell and paintable, so they disappear into a white ceiling. Patented SecureFit technology installs without over-clamping or cracking drywall, and is completely tool-free when using the plastic cover. The bracket matches the cutout for most Klipsch 6.5" in-ceiling speakers, so no additional measuring is needed.
