Preservation Solutions’ Klucel G is a leather consolidant used to treat leather that is starting to deteriorate or become powdery from a condition called “Red Rot”. It creates a pe rmanent flexible webbing which strengthens the leather and prevents the spread of “Red Rot”. It is excellent for treating and repairing deteriorating leather books/bindings and other fragile antique leather articles. Klucel G can also be used for reinforcing paper.
