Knit yourself an oversized, chunky cowl to keep out the NYC chill. In this skill-building workshop, you'll learn how to knit in the round as you stitch a fast, bulky cowl. In this class, you'll learn: How to cast on with circular needles How to knit in the round with circular needles How to vary your stitches to create pattern and texture within your cowl How to cast off SKILL REQUIREMENTS: You must have basic knitting skills to attend this workshops, including: casting on, knitting and purling. Our Open Beginner Knitting (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite to this class. Originally from the west coast with a background in Women’s Studies and the history of radical knitting, her current hobbies include reading young adult fiction, decluttering her apartment, and daydreaming of re-wilding.
