Knit Picks' smooth cable join lets your stitches slide around your knitting needles with no snags. The long threaded join along with the tightening hole make for extra security tha t the cables and tips of the knitting needles will stay connected. The flexible cable has very little memory so you can start knitting immediately. When your needle tips are needed elsewhere, simply unscrew the needle tips and screw on the cable caps (which come with your cables) to keep your knitting safe. For lace knitters, you can tie a piece of scrap yarn through the tiny hole in the cable end (used for the tightening key) and thread a lifeline through your lace at regular intervals while you're knitting. Available in 24", 32", 40", 47" and 60" lengths. (Final cable length is achieved when both needle tips are secured onto the cable.)
