A knitting and crochet pattern to make a tartan rug / plaid afghan. A wonderful decorative item, this is a superb, stylish afghan. Tartan always looks amazing, it adds colour to an y room. The rug is knitted in one piece. The horizontal stripes are knitted in, then the vertical stripes are crocheted in along spaces made by dropping a stitch at regular intervals.
