The Pacific Beanie is the third and final installment of my “Ocean Series”. The Pacific beanie was born from my thoughts regarding my husband’s Sea Phase journey in the Canadian Coast Guard College. He and I will be apart for 8 months on completely different sides of the continent. It’s hard but worth it in the end! The Pacific Beanie is made for adults, knit up in Super Bulky Weight yarn such as Malabrigo (Rasta), We Are Knitters (The Wool), Wool And The Gang (Crazy Sexy Wool), Cascade (Magnum or Spuntaneous)It can be made Slouchy or Fitted, depending on preference. LEVEL: Advanced BEGINNER What you'll need for this pattern: US 15 / 10.0mm circular needles (12 inches) or size to obtain gauge US 15/ 10.0mm double pointed needles if desired or size to obtain gauge Super Bulky Weight yarn – Malabrigo Rasta or WAK The Wool as examples Tapestry needle Scissors Stitch marker PomPom if desired A positive attitude
