The Knossos Rectangle Cocktail Table from Baker Furniture's Susan Ferrier collection announces itself through the quiet authority of its quartered oak veneer top, where the timber' s medullary rays surface in symmetrical, almost ceremonial pattern. Finished in Scorch with Temper, the piece carries a depth of tone that reads differently across the hours — warmer at midday, more shadowed by evening light. It is the kind of table that holds a room together without demanding attention, a studied presence beneath flowers, books, or nothing at all. Show more
