Yuzo Komada is a wood craftsman based in Saitama, just north of Tokyo. He began his career creating furniture and, since 2020, has expanded his practice to include handcrafted plates and vases. His work showcases the natural beauty of wood—either left untreated or stained deep black through a traditional method of rubbing oxidized iron onto the surface.
