The Kool Grind increases grinding wheel life by coating and lubricates grinding wheels, preventing clogging and glazing. To use, simply hold the stick to the wheel for a second aft er sharpening every 2 or 3 saw teeth. Sharpens cooler and faster. Sold as a 5 pack. Kool Grind is wax lubricant used when grinding saw chain. Applying a small amount to the spinning grinding wheel helps prevent burning or overheating of the cutter during heavier than normal grinding. Some people prefer to grind cutters very hard.
