The very fine weave of the mesh prevents flying insects from getting to the developing fruit. Codling moths, cherry fruit flies, and other insects cannot lay their eggs on or near the fruit. The fruit then grows to maturity without damage from caterpillars, worms or maggots. As harvest time approaches, bird, hail and wind damage is dramatically reduced or eliminated. You harvest healthy, bug-free fruit at the normal harvest time. The tree covers can be reused season after season. No spraying for insects is required.
