The Korda Flying Backlead is an updated version of the original Safe Zone Flying Back Lead, redesigned for use with both mono and braid. During the cast, the backlead travels back up the main line to pin as much line as possible to the lake bed, reducing the risk of fish picking up the line.A clever slotted insert allows quick removal by twisting until it aligns with the slot. A dedicated braid insert is also included to prevent braid getting trapped. A small rubber bead acts as a buffer when the backlead sits above your leader knot. Weight is etched into each backlead.
