Kickers are the new shrink tube - they make it quicker and easier when tying your rigs. The kicker is made from a robust rubber that helps to keep its shape while in use. It's adde d to the hook's shank by the eye and comes down your hook link by about half a centimetre. Adding this will change the mechanics of your rig, allowing your hook to turn and locate in the mouth of the carp aggressively.
