The Korda Lead Clips are a lead ejection system that enables the lead to come off, preventing fish from towing a lead around the lake if you are unfortunate to get snapped off. In addition, the Lead Clip's main design ensures that a Size 8 Ring Swivel or Quick Change Swivel that is on the end of the clip stays in place after the force of the lead has pulled off. If this doesn't happen, your lead clip and lead will freely run up your leader, and this could cause you problems or harm the fish. A tip if you are fishing in thick weed: when you push your Tail Rubber onto the lead clip, only push it on a quarter of the way down so if the fish does go through the weed, the lead will pull off easier, helping you extract the fish.
