Braided Hair Needle is, as the name implies, for use with braided hook link materials, or any sort of braided hair material. It is sharp and strong enough that it can be pushed through any baits without splitting them, and the ‘crook’ design will allow a hair loop to be pulled through the bait without the needle getting caught up in the fibres of the braid. It features a hi-viz handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. Fine Latch Needle This 7cm long baiting needle is perfect for use with softer baits – including particles such as sweetcorn - and leaves as small a hole through them as possible due to its very slim profile. It features a latch to hold your hair in place – whatever type of hair material you are using – whilst it is pulled through the bait. It features a hi-viz purple handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. Heavy Latch Needle This heavy duty baiting needle is designed so that it can easily be pushed through harder baits. The latched gate ensures that the hair remains attached to the needle whilst it is being pulled through the bait, but is then easily released. The Heavy Latch Needle is 7cm long, very strong, and features a hi-viz green handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. Stick Needle This is basically a longer version of our Heavy Latch Needle, and at 12cm long is perfect for threading PVA sticks onto your hook length. Whether you are using a braided or monofilament hook link material, the loop at the swivel end is easily held in place via the latched gate whilst a PVA stick is threaded onto your rig. It features a hi-viz red handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. Splicing Needle The Slicing Needle features a gated latch that closes sufficiently tightly that it will help to grip a tag end whilst it is being pulled through a splice to create a loop, and with no danger of the needle getting stuck in the fibres of the material being spliced. As well as for splicing, this 7cm long needle also comes in useful for threading baits onto PVA stringers. It features a hi-viz orange handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. Superfine Needle This baiting needle is designed for use with delicate baits that can easily be damaged or split by a wider diameter needle. The Super Fine Braid Needle is still very strong though and has a round profile, with a tapered point making it easy to push through harder baits such as tiger nuts and small pop-ups. It has a recessed barb to ensure that it will retain your hair loop in place whilst it is pulled through the bait, and despite its name, it can also be used with mono as well as braid. The handle allows you to get a good grip, and is colour-coded in blue for easy identification of the correct needle if you have a range of them in your tackle box.
