The Korg MicroKORG 2 is the successor to one of the most iconic synthesizers in modern music. It pairs an analog modeling sound engine with an expanded vocoder, a loop recorder, and a 2.8-inch color IPS display that brings visual feedback to sound design for the first time on a MicroKORG. With 256 programs organized by genre across Classic, Modern, and Future banks, the MicroKORG 2 covers a wide range of synth sounds while remaining compact and battery-powered. Sound Engine & Vocoder The virtual analog synthesis engine supports up to 8 voices in single mode or 4 in dual-layer mode. A new vocal processor goes beyond the original's vocoder to include hard-tune pitch correction and a harmonizer that pitch-shifts and layers your voice. The included gooseneck condenser microphone connects directly to the front panel. Loop Recorder & Arpeggiator A built-in loop recorder with record, play/stop, and undo/redo buttons lets you layer and overdub parts for live performance or practice. The arpeggiator offers 10 patterns plus a step arpeggiator function for rhythmic sequencing. Display & Interface A 2.8-inch color IPS LCD provides animated parameter guides, an oscilloscope view, and visual patch editing.
