Kōro provides a traditional method of scenting a space in order to enjoy the purest form of the fragrance released from aromatic woods. By burying a small piece of charcoal in a pot of ash and placing the woodchips on the warmed ash, the natural resins and oils will release in a controlled and gradual process.
