This one is special. One of our favorite throwback Kramers. Back in the 70s, they came along with a truly forward thinking design. Kramer crafted this aluminum-necked marvel from walnut/ maple and outfitted it with a stunning ebony fingerboard (14" radius, 1.659" nut). The neck has a fast, playable C profile (.830"-.954"). This guitar has the original Kramer pickups with the embossed pickup covers (N: 11.43k, 11.08k) and the original Schaller tuners. CTS date codes (1377633) date back to the 33rd week of '76. It weighs in at around 11 lbs, so she's got some heft but you won't even care after you feel how well-balance it feels and plays. This guitar looks very clean for its age. Overall you can see minor signs of playwear. There are minor dings on the back of the neck near the headstock (see pics) and some minor scratches on the hardware. But none of this detracts from how stunning the guitar looks and plays. And it has been perfectly fret leveled and setup by the pro techs here at EMS. It plays as good, if not better than, the day it left the factory (and damn near looks that clean too!).
