This Krell KPE Reference Phono stage is part of a complete Krell system I restored. The KPE reference is designed to compliment the KBL line stage preamplifier. The power is derive d from an external DC power supply shared by both pieces of equipment. This reference version of the KPE is dedicated for MC cartridges with adjustable loading and gain. The KPE was disassembled and all electrolytic capacitors were replaced as preventative maintenance.
