Kribensis The Pelvicachromis pulcher, commonly called the Kribensis, is a colorful dwarf cichlid native to rivers and streams in West Africa. It is one of the most popular beginner cichlids because of its bright colors, manageable size, and interesting breeding behavior. Kribensis are known for their purple to pink bellies, yellow fins, and dark lateral stripe, with females often displaying the brightest coloration during breeding.
